PondCare Activated Carbon Filter Pads trap coarse debris, such as dead algae, suspended soil particles, and other water discoloring materials. The polyester filter pad is coated with high-quality activated carbon which adsorbs dissolved organic compounds from the water. Activated Carbon Filter Pads remove pesticides that can drift into the pond. Natural tannins that cause a brown "tea" discoloration are also removed by activated carbon. Activated Carbon Filter Pads help keep the pond water clear and clean.
Directions For Use:
Activated Carbon Filter Pads measure 12" by 12" (30.5 cm x 30.5 cm). The filter pads can be cut to fit any filter. Several filter pads can be layered or arranged inside the filter.
Compatibility:
Activated Carbon Filter Pads should be removed whenever treating the pond with a fish medication. Replace the filter pad when it becomes clogged.
